Galleni Junior

Founder of Goshindō

I, Galleni Junior, founder of Goshindō, I'm a senior instructor in the Bujinkan organization, which encompasses 9 martial traditions of Ninja</em and Samurai. I began my training in Bujinkan in January 1999.

I had my first contact with Martial Arts at the age of 4, practicing Jūdō for 2 years.
At 11 years old, I practiced Tae Kwon Do for 6 months.
When I was 13, I practiced Kung-Fu Shaolin Ton Long for 4 and a half years.
On January 9, 1999, just a few days before my 20th birthday, I began practicing Ninjutsu Bujinkan in São Paulo, and I have continued to practice it to this day.

I was a pioneer in Brazil in creating books that detailed the techniques taught in Bujinkan, providing step-by-step descriptions of how to execute them. I was also a pioneer in launching the online platform Denshō Series, where I could assist practitioners of Bujinkan, both in Brazil and internationally, with explanatory videos.

Over the years, I noticed that there is a significant demand from people interested in learning practical and rapid self-defense techniques, with the sole aim of developing their ability to defend themselves efficiently and effectively in the short term.

The majority of these individuals did not demonstrate an interest in learning the historical and traditional aspects of ancient martial arts.
Consequently, I decided to create an optimized system of self-defense based on my experience in martial arts, immediate conflict situations (in which I survived and could apply my skills), and the needs of my current and future students to preserve and protect their lives. Thus, I found it more appropriate to name this system "Goshindō," which means “Way of Self-Defense” or “Way of Protecting the Body.” Goshindō was developed based on the ancient warfare systems of Ninjutsu, Koppō Jutsu, Kosshi Jutsu, Daken Taijutsu, and Jū Taijutsu. The techniques were selected and adapted to be applied in contemporary defense situations. We can say that Goshindō is the equivalent of Japanese Krav Maga.
